Delta 8 will, it's perfectly fine but something like 70% potency compared to D9, AKA normal ass THC. If you have access to actual flower, don't bother. Otherwise, it's a fine substitute but go lightly at first as with any new product. Weeds legal in my state just bought some out of curiosity & traveling around. .
